Shares listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Designated an issue on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Acquires Dai-ichi Leasing Co., Ltd. (now, a consolidated subsidiary)

IBJ Leasing (China) Ltd. is established. (now, Mizuho Leasing (China) Ltd. and a consolidated subsidiary)

PT. IBJ VERENA FINANCE is established.

Acquires TF Asset Service Co., Ltd. (now, Mizuho-Toshiba Leasing Company, Limited and a consolidated subsidiary), a receiver company succeeding the corporate financial services business split off from Toshiba Finance Corporation

Merged with Nissan Leasing Co., Ltd.

Moved into the field of aircraft operating leases with the establishment of IBJ Air Leasing Limited (now, a consolidated subsidiary), a joint venture with major U.S. aircraft leasing company Aircastle Limited.

Thai equity method affiliate Krung Thai IBJ leasing Co., Ltd. acquires an auto leasing business from a local leasing company.

Acquires PT. VERENA MULTI FINANCE Tbk, an Indonesian auto finance provider.(now, a consolidated subsidiary)

Becomes equity method affiliate of Mizuho Financial Group.

Acquires MG Leasing Corporation.(now, Mizuho Marubeni Leasing Corporation, an equity method affiliate, joint venture with Marubeni Corporation)

Merged with PT. IBJ VERENA FINANCE with PT. VERENA MULTI FINANCE Tbk as the surviving company.

Change of trade name to Mizuho Leasing Company, Limited

Acquires the equity interests of Aircastle Limited, a major U.S. aircraft leasing company. (now, an equity method affiliate, joint operating company with Marubeni Corporation)

Acquires the equity interests of PLM Fleet, LLC, a U.S. refrigerated trailer leasing and rental company. (now, an equity method affiliate, joint operating company with Marubeni Corporation)

Acquires RICOH LEASING COMPANY, LTD..(now, an equity method affiliate)
